There are two types of unsecured loan. Those specifically for homeowners
and those for tenants. Some lenders will only grant loans to homeowners,
others will lend to either. We will search out the best deal we can
find.
Most loans can be used for any purpose. Any unsecured loan offer will be
made on the basis of credit scoring. Don't worry if you have a poor
credit rating as some schemes exist that will ignore the odd default or
county court judgement. However, be warned, a really poor credit record
is likely to be declined or in the case of a homeowner only offered as a
secured loan.
The best bet though, is to apply online now. We'll give you an in
principle decision in approximately 2 hours. If declined you will
usually be advised confidentially by email.
Loan documents may be posted to you direct, however certain lenders (to
speed things up) will require you to visit their local office to verify
information, finalise matters and then collect the cheque. You will be
under no obligation unless you choose to accept their offer.
As we use more than one lender we do not show repayment tables as this
could be misleading - offers made will directly relate to your
circumstances. There are no application fees payable when using our
services. Loans are available from £500 to £25000 with repayments from 6
months to 7 years.
NB Some lenders may require joint homeowners to apply together. Even
though the loan is unsecured, they make it a condition that both parties
apply together. This is infact a benefit because if both have income,
then the credit score is normally much higher.
